Counsellor Directory

This innovative membership service serves to promote business information about your counselling practice, specialized services and skills as well as the ability to upload a profile picture and business logo. With futurist trends heading towards a generation that seeks information online as well as a specific set of skills, knowledge and experience, the CPCA believes this directory will provide a competitive edge for marketing our member's counselling services across Canada to the public, insurance providers, EAP contractors and government for verification of your legitimacy. All members who are in "good standing" will be approved to list their contact information in the directory on an annual basis. It allows our members to login to their directory listing once it has been approved and make any changes to their contact information.

Description

Hi, I'm Sharon.
You'll find in me an empathetic, intuitive, and compassionate counselor who offers confidential support for navigating life's challenges. I believe in working collaboratively with you, addressing your concerns at the depth you desire.

With experience supporting individuals overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, grief, or struggling with self-identity, relationships, or life transitions, I bring expertise as a Registered Professional Counselor - Candidate.

Beyond my formal training and over 1000 hours of counselling and coaching experience, I've deepened my understanding of domestic violence and coercive control through volunteer work with the Sagesse Domestic Violence Prevention Society. My commitment to cultural competence includes an Intercultural Competencies for Leaders Certificate and active participation in diverse cultural workshops and celebrations. In addition, I have experience working with individuals with disabilities and can appreciate their unique challenges.

I provide a safe, confidential, non-judgmental space where you can talk freely. Contact me for a free 20-minute consultation to determine if we’re a good fit to work together. I look forward to meeting you!
